Product Characteristics
Monel 400 is a high volume, versatile alloy with excellent overall performance. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, as well as excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkaline solutions. It is also resistant to corrosion from neutral solutions, water, seawater, atmosphere, organic compounds, and so on. An important feature of this alloy is that it is generally free of stress corrosion cracking and has good cutting properties. The organization of Monel 400 alloy is a high-strength single-phase solid solution.
Uses
Used in the fields of chemical and petrochemical industries as well as marine development. Can be used to manufacture a variety of heat transfer equipment, boiler feedwater heaters, a variety of pressure vessel equipment. Petroleum and chemical pipelines, containers, towers, tanks, valves, pumps, reactors, shafts and so on.
